Jennifer first performed at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas during a Selena tribute concert in 1995 under the management of Q Productions.
Jennifer's first studio album "Dulzura" was released in May 1996 under the production of Abraham Quintanilla III. The album sold quite well in the Latin market, certified gold and winning several Tejano Music Awards.
She released her second album "Jennifer" in 1997. The album consists of singles 'Tu Castigo' and 'Yo Te Vi'. The album was a big success and went Gold.
Jennifer Pena released her third album "Mariposa" in 1998.
She released her next album "Abrazame y Besame" in 2000 under Q's management which brought her the title of La Princesa De La Musica Tejano [The Princess Of Tejano Music].
Jennifer received Grammy nomination and multiple Tejano Music Awards in 2001.
Pena signed with the then new label Univision Music Group and released her next album "Libre" in 2002. The albums single 'Vamos al Mundial' was chosen as the anthem for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
She received Grammy nomination for "Libre" in 2003.
Jennifer Pena released her second album with Univision Music Group titled "Seduccion" in 2004.
Pena has also performed for President George W. Bush.
She also acted in movies like "All You've Got" in 2006 and "Amexicano" in 2007.
Jennifer released another album "Dicen que el tiempo" On February 27th, 2007 which reached top on Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
She received her third Grammy nomination for "Dicen que el tiempo" on December 06th, 2007.
Jennifer Pena married Latin Grammy winner Obie Bermudez on June 3rd, 2007. They together have a son named Jobien born November 6th, 2007.
